In the lunchtime and evening slots of Journey and Discovery, different people are imagining the Epiphany story through from the perspectives of different characters.

Being different characters in the story is a super way of seeing where it catches. The gospel narratives are all quite short, so there’s an invitation to see what surfaces in imagining the story —  and making it one’s own.

Some people find that being in the story — and perhaps discussing with others — is enough. Others find the imagination flows more easily by writing it down. But it can go a whole lot deeper if one imagines the story and then goes into stillness — letting the story slip away.  That’s not something that can be built into the one-hour sessions of Journey and Discovery — but it can be something to try. The forums are available if you’d like to share any insights.
